Ingredients:
        125g (4 oz) butter 
          125g (4 oz) sugar 
          125g (4 oz) breadcrumbs 
          125g (4 oz) currants 
          125g (4 oz) raisins 
          125g (4 oz) flour 
          1 teaspoon baking soda 
          1 cup milk 
          Extra milk  
          Flavourings: lemon, vanilla, rum and brandy 
        Putting it together:
        Boil the butter and the cup in a saucepan for a few minutes. 
          Remove from the heat and add the sugar, breadcrumbs, currants and raisins. 
           
          Let the mixture cool and add the flavourings and the flour. 
          Disolve the baking soda in enough milk to make the mixture very moist. 
          Put mixture into a well greased pudding basin and steam for 2 1/2 hours.
